I believe in the ability of my clients to do more than they think they can. In therapy, my goal is to help you tap into the resources that already exist within you. I believe you possess wisdom, resilience, sound judgment, compassion for yourself and others, and other strengths that can be refined or rediscovered through the process of therapy. I strive to help my clients discover more of their potential.

I’ve spent my career working with children, adolescents and families who are struggling to overcome trauma, depression, anxiety, difficulties with transitions, emotional regulation issues and interpersonal conflicts. Drawing from a variety of theoretical frameworks. I tailor my counseling approach to address your unique needs. Treatment approaches used are CBT. Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Family Systems. I strive to listen, reflect and to help people achieve their goals and move forward. 

I strive to offer my clients Hope in situations that may feel hopeless and faith (for the future) that they can experience joy today, I am an alumnus of Lincoln University, PA and Johns Hopkins University. MD.

Jessica is a trauma informed counselor who believes that positive change is possible for anybody by creating a non-judgmental space to explore experiences, thoughts and emotions. Jessica began her counseling journey by working in the schools with elementary and middle school aged students. She has experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, behavioral issues, school issues, and life transitions.

Jessica uses a variety of theoretical approaches depending on what meets the needs of the client including CBT, Person Focused, and Solution Focused. Jessica graduated from Loyola University Maryland and has over 4 years of experience.

Jessica believes in creating a safe therapeutic environment without judgement where clients are free to explore their experiences, thoughts, and emotions to promote positive change.
